Oxford: FAI Farm
For FAI, embracing regenerative agriculture starts with changing the way we farm. Since 2001 we have farmed and operated 1200 acres of farmland in Wytham, Oxfordshire, mainly owned by University of Oxford.
The farm runs c. 1200 acres of mixed land from species rich flood plain to herbal leys, supporting the breeding and finishing of cattle and sheep from forage alone and producing eggs from our mobile laying hens. Two years ago we began transitioning our operation, led by principles of regenerative farming.
Regenerative Agriculture is a system of land stewardship, rooted in centuries old indigenous wisdom, that provides healthy, nutrient rich food for all people, while continuously restoring and nourishing the ecological, social, and cultural systems unique to every place.
